Procedure and examples of probability calculation for aerial target destruction are presented for rapid fire weapons firing one burst. The procedure is shown for a step law and an exponential law of a target destruction and for a constant and a changing target hit probability. Basic characteristics for all the types of rapid-firing cannons, which are part of a standard armament of modern aircraft, are included in this paper.</span></em></p> ER -
